The State of Missouri is a national leader in the screening of newborns for genetics conditions. In addition to standard tandem MS/MS screening, newborns are tested for six lysosomal diseases. Washington University is a Missouri and Illinois State Newborn Screening area service center. Trainees will gain exposure to detection, evaluation, and management of patients in the outpatient setting.
