Clinical exposure to prenatal diagnosis is provided through the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Trainees will have the opportunity to counsel and manage outpatients with complex as well as common prenatal conditions. They will observe diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling and ultrasound. In the laboratory trainees will learn state of the art diagnostic techniques, including cytogenetics, microarray, non-invasive prenatal testing, and molecular diagnosis.
